I have a 100Mbit Switch with 2 PC's attached and the DSL modem, and when i copy files from 1 to the other, the Network Utilization is only 1 or 2% and the BEST i have seen is 10%? I have tried endless tweaks, but none worked and some made it even slower (0.28-1%), i have tried unpluging the DSL modem and using different brands of switchs, but there was hardly any change, any ideas?

Are any of your connections running through the phone lines? I know that's how Bellsouth sets up their networks. Phone lines (Cat 3) have a max speed of 10 Mbps. If you are networking using the phone lines behind the DSL modem, this could be your bottleneck. Also, have you tried disabling your AV?

Nope, just 2 computers, both have 100mbit cards and cat5e cabling and the switch is 100mbit. and yes disabling the Anti-virus and firewall on both computers got me upto around 49%!! (OMG) but still half speed is hopeless for copying whole hard drives over the network! and viruses and hackers could get in. i've seen the utilization up to around 80% on some computers, i just wish mine was the same, thanks
