It sounds like you are trying to install the incorrect driver for your OS. What operating system are you currently using?

Hi Pat.
I think you have possibly run into a couple of problems here which in combination are confusing us.
1) You may have downloaded a driver for the BeOs operating system.
2) You seem to have mucked up your file association for *.zip files and Windows now thinks it needs autoexec.bat to open them.
Solutions:
1) Make sure you have downloaded a Win98 driver for your ensoniq es1370 chipset soundcard.
2) Click the zip file once in Windows Explorer to highlight it. Hold down SHIFT key and Right-click the file and you should get an option "open with". Select that then on the list that appears, find winzip or whatever you use to open zip files. If you don't have anything, www.winzip.com offers the most popular shareware unzipper.
