Right up front, I must admit that I am pretty much a novive to web page design.
I have been experimenting with Frames and Style Sheets and I seem to have come up against a technical block, I can create a Style Sheet and see that refelcted in a web page but if I then put that web page into a frame, the style disappears. Does this mean Style Sheets and Frames are mutually exclusive or am I just missing something ? Any help gratefully received. Thanks, Mike. |

You simply aren't referencing the style sheet properly in the header of the pages. Be certain your frameset page is linked to the style sheet.

Thanks, Buzz. That's a little bit better.
I can now see the style on the first page that is called up by the initial frameset but the link to page 2 will not show the style (although it does if the page is called up independently. One problem that I may be having is that I created tis frame set with Frontpage and the only way I can see the HTML code for the Index page is to launch it in Explorer and then change code. Whereabouts in this frameset coding do I need to put the <LINL> line ? I only have 5 pages in my 6 pages in my test set. Would it be easier if I uploaded them ? |

Correction.
Sorry, that should have read "6 pages in my test set". Bad quality control ! |
