Hi cybertechies
OK, I just unpacked my computer after a 3 month rest and removal to a new house.
It started up, went through set up and to the windows98 start up page. then, blank screen with cursor flashing in the top left corner and my monitor went to sleep. No response so I had to hit the power button.
Now it appears that power is going in (power pack and CPU fans both working ) but no response from keyboard, monitor goes into sleep mode as soon as its connected to computer and not reading cd's. I chucked in windows 98 CD and no response.
I am mightily computer illiterate as far as tech stuff goes but I think it's not going through any kind of start up. I checked all the plugs and connections which is about as far as i can go on my own.
Any help appreciated 'cos i'm lost.
