I was originally running Windows 2000 on my computer. I then installed Windows XP on the computer, hoping it would override Windows 2000. It didn't, so now when I start up, it gives me the option to either start Windows 2000 or Windows XP. I was wondering how I can delete Windows 2000 from my computer and run Windows XP only because having both systems on the computer takes up a lot of space. Forgive me if the answer is obvious, I'm not the best with computers. Any help is much appreciated.

If you haven't installed anything you don't want to lose yet,
boot from the XP CD and start the installation.
Watch the screen and it will come to a page where you will
be given the option to delete partitions.
Follow the instructions to delete both of the partitions
and continue the installation on the unpartitioned space.
When completed, install hardware drivers, starting with the motherboard.
