Need Help!!!

Hey whenever i watch a video on Windows Media player or watch a video on a site that uses windows media player (like cartoonnetwork for my lil brother)
i's all purple and dark and i cannot see a thing...I have tried brightening my monitor and adjusting the contrast but nothing happens any help would much be apriciated Thanks!

Is this only when you use windows media player? Have you tried using quicktime or some other movie player. If it does it with all movie players it's probably a hardware issue. If it only does it with windows media player and none other, it's probably a software issue.Try a different media player and post back the results. Also what kind of pc is it (laptop, desktop)?

Yes I have tried RealPlayer

but i recently re-installed windows 2000 it was fine before i did tho...
