Can a ADSL modem used for dial-up? Because I am thinking of buying a USB modem for dial-up, if there is an ADSL usb modem which also can work for dial-up then I can save money by buying a modem which can be used for both connections.
Thanks in advance

Not too sure, but ADSL uses a different cable (copper) to communicate a a mch faster rate than dial up and also uses a different system, rather than like dial up, all information can only goone direction at a time, ADSL divides it into channels so that information can travel back and forth anytime, thus giving a faster connection.
I cant see the harm in trying but I doubt it will work
Good Luck
