Fun free game

http://www.outwar.com/index.php

I'm sure most of you are familiar with Outwar, and complain about it, yet you've never actually played it. Well this is for anyone to check out.

Let me lay down the stats they have provided:
Four servers, with a total of 283,540 characters. So you can tell, it's pretty big.

The game is free, but spending money is optional to get upgrades. There are other ways around to get upgrades though.

There are 3 races, Monster, Gangster, and Popstar.
Diamond City is the main area to play in, it's full of mobs to defeat for yourself, and mobs to take down with your crew. There are hundreds of quests in Diamond City to keep you busy.

Crews are a group of players who come together to help each other out, and to get sets in Diamond City. Each different set has it's own unique attributes. Crews also work on taking down the 20 or so gods, who drop really powerful items.

There's a lot more aswell, such as attacking, hitlists, bounty lists, allies, enemies, comment boxes, supplies, chat box, messages, and so on.

Click the link I provided, and take a look around, you'll be surprised how fun it is.

I couldn't get your link to work but I did find one that does. If anyone is interested they can click the Home link on this page...

BTW if anyone can get that link to work, is that your personal power link? If it is, aren't you a little concerned that your account will be suspended or terminated?

They've been updating today, so it's not 100% smooth. If you click on home and join, you won't be me "underling" and I won't be able to help you out. I'm currently a good enough player and I can help you out if I know who you are.

I also should of mentioned the attacking portion, you can attack other players for money which you can use to by items to increase you ATK/DEF, or to deposit into the crew bank or your personal bank.

There are also skills in which you can learn, each of them different, but all powerful.

Outwar Anti-Spam Policy

Outwar prohibits its members from using spam and other forms of Internet abuse to gain character power. Spam is defined as including, but not limited to, the following:
Electronic mail messages addressed to a recipient with whom the initiator does not have an existing business or personal relationship or is not sent at the request of, or with the express consent of, the recipient;
Messages posted to Usenet and message boards that are off-topic (unrelated to the topic of discussion), cross-posted to unrelated newsgroups, or posted in excessive volume;
Solicitations posted to chat rooms, or to groups or individuals via Internet Relay Chat or "Instant Messaging" system (such as ICQ);
Certain off-line activities that, while not considered spam, are similar in nature, including distributing flyers or leaflets on private property or where prohibited by applicable rules, regulations, or laws.

Outwar may undertake, at its sole discretion and with or without prior notice, the following enforcement actions:

Account Termination: Upon the receipt of a credible complaint, Outwar may immediately terminate the membership of the individual implicated in the abuse. Termination results in the immediate closure of the account, and a prohibition against any future membership.

Account Suspension: Upon the receipt of a credible complaint, Outwar may immediately suspend the membership of the individual implicated in the abuse. Suspension is intended to prevent the abuser from benefiting from their abusive activities by prohibiting the offender from playing Outwar. After a thorough investigation, if the spamming incident is verified, but does not rise to the level of a terminable offense, Outwar may (but is not obligated to) lift the suspension.

How to Report Abuse

If you wish to report a violation of our Anti-Spam Policy, please click the "Report a Spammer" link on the page that was spammed to you and submit a complaint.
That's our next step if you keep this up.

Your point being? I haven't broken any Outwar rules by posting this, all I did was "advertise" the game for other people to play, just like any other game I think is good. Nowhere on there does it say that a person cannot post the link on a website forum to spread the word.

This thread was originally in Open Discussion. I had to move it to games to prevent it being off-topic.

Adding the disclaimer:
Quote:
[ Clicking this link will sign you up directly under me, if you do not want that, click the following link, but know that I cannot help you out in the game if you do ]
after the fact doesn't excuse you from supplying the "sign up under me" link in the first (and second) place without the disclaimer either time, even after warnings from 2 moderators.
Don't try it again. Last warning.

however you were solicitating which is against the rules. Reread the rules.
