I would really like for someone to help me uninstall windows3.1 and install windows 95. I have the cd-rom for windows 95 but it is not the upgrade version. I do not have a boot disk for win 95. Can someone tell me step by step on how to do this? Thanks! :D

Hi merrytwin,
You don't uninstall windows 3.1, you just delete it if you don't want it any more. It would even be a better idea to format the hard drive, which would not only get rid of win3.1 but also clean up the disk.
Then you install win95...fresh.
Go here: http://www.cybertechhelp.com/pages/downloads.html and download Windows Boot Disk. You'll need it to format then install win95. You'll need the CD drivers to be able to run setup to install windows from the CD drive.
If you need more help let us know.

It would be a good idea to read thru this tutorial too. Even tho it says how to "reinstall", the instructions are very similar on how to install for the first time too.
