I'm trying to contact past employees of a particular company. Someone had suggested taking out an ad in the paper and I thought that a bulk e-mail would serve well too. I am sorry if you think my intentions were to cause any undue problems for this forum. That is not what I am trying to do. I just wanted to find out some information to aid in my search for answers.

I was wondering, alot of times when someone asks a question similar to yours, they are trying to sell something and am hoping someone would give them an opening. They are under the false belief they are staying within the guidelines of the forum by getting someone asking for more info

as far as your question, bulk mail could work but thats a lot of postage.

most isps dont like it and if its too much, you can lose your account. It can be considered spam if you were not given permission to email the individuals (check the laws of your local area)
