I have just had a pop up saying BtStackServer.exe the program will close down then prompting me to click ok,which I didn't.I googled this and found it can sometimes be a virus or trojan but as I have Bluetooth cordless mouse and keyboard that sometimes play up,I'm not sure what to do about it.I just ignored the pop up and carried on without closing (with the X) or clicking ok.
What should I do about this?

uncheck BtStackServer.exe
OK(button)

I get the message, can't find the file msconfig
I am pretty sure I got you to install this before.
msconfig for Windows 2000 (http://www.perfectdrivers.com/howto/msconfig.html) it goes in C:\Windows\System32 folder.

That is one of my standard procedures when installing win2k to get msconfig in there
so you have some control over what programs/processes are starting up with the
computer.
Win98 had it, WinME had it, Win2K didn't come with it, WinXP had it.
I don't know what caused Microsoft to omit it from Win2K.

I tried to Run this but the file could not be found ,trying to download this again, I see it does exist ,but not in Windows\system32 folder, but in Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop.Do I just drag and drop it to the system 32 folder and then it should be "found" Yes?

Yes.
It's a designated System Directory (folder). It's assigned on bootup to be visable all the time from anywhere.
Type path in a Command Prompt and hit enter.
All those folders are "path" folders like the system32 folder you'll see listed in there.
