i want to subtract the 2.0833335 FROM THE WHOLE LOT
FOR INNSTANCE IF I HAVE A FIGURE OF £120 AND WANT TO SUBTRACT THE CALCULATION I WOULD DO ON A CALCULATOR WOULD BE 120.00 *2.083333% - = GIVING ME A FIGURE OF £117.50
WHEN TRYING THIS IN OPEN OFFICE CALC THE FIGURE IT GIVES ME IS 2.49996

try this =E5-(E5*0.028333) there are other ways to do it also.

the e5 represents the cell where the number you want to change is.
