Hi Guys,
I was wondering why, when I click on MSN in my links bar, I get a fatal om or error or something like that, and my pc locks up? I seem to be able to go anywhere else on the net. Any ideas?
Thanks, John
ps. I would tell you exactly what it says, but if I go there my pc will lock up.

I hate to say this, but it would really help if we knew the exact error message. Make it alot easier to trouble shoot... Cause there are alot of reasons why it could happen...

Hello,
It happened again, this time when I tried to use windows updates. Message reads:
A fatal exception OE has occured at 0028:C0081712 in VXD AVGCORE(01)
Could this be because my DSL tech people had me get rid of ms networking client? This didn't start happening until they had me uninstall it.
Thanks, John

A search at Google.com using VXD AVGCORE(01) as the search term lead to the following results:

Hope this is helpful !

Hi Lynnm,
Your search led to my anti-virus vendor's home page. I should also let you know that I have reinstalled ms networking client and have been able to go to my msn sites again. Could the two be related? Any way, Thanks for all of your help on this and I'll let you know how it turns out.
Much thanks, John :)

Hello,
Just thought I would let you know that everything is running smoothly. I guess it was the ms client causing the problem. I haven't changed AVG or anything, exept for reinstalling client for ms networking.
Thanks, John :)
