Hello,
I am having a problem with an ipod, my friend gave me his ipod to put music on, because he has a very limited amount. He has a 20GB ipod with click wheel, and I have a 30GB ipod photo. My ipod will sync with itunes with no trouble, yet his will only show up in my computer, and will not show up in itunes. I have the latest version of itunes, and when I try to go to ipod updater, it says "invalid ipod service version."
I have not been able to find a way to get his into my itunes.
How do I fix this, or is there possibly a way for me to put the music on his ipod without having to do it through itunes?

Also, I just tried to sync my to winamp, and although it will not show up in portables, I can still access the music, and I know it is the music on the ipod because it is not music I have, and when I eject it, it will not play the music.
Problem fixed, found help elsewhere for the problem.
