require password to logon

I did not require a password to logon previously but now I want to. I entered a new password, but it does not require me to use it to logon. How do I change this? I am using W2k Pro

If you added a password then it should be prompting you.

Just incase, open the user accounts tab and make sure the option to require users to enter a password is checked.

I don't see an option that requires users to enter a password. The only option I see to check is require users to hit CTL ALT DEL. Is that what you are talking about?

Sorry, that option is not available in 2000.

If you have set a password then it should not automatically logon.

If you want to double check this download and install TweakUI and check the auto login section
