Hello all, can someone please help? Yesterday everything was fine, and today all of the sudden no videos on my computer will play. I get sound, but just a black screen. WMP, Divx, Quicktime, MPClassic, ZoomPlayer, None of these will display any video in any format. what the heck? This is not a codec issue, and re-installing the codecs and all the media players have gotten me nowhere.

This has happened to me once before when I installed the beta of Media Player 11 and the only way I could fix it was to re-install windows. I purposefully didn't update WMP cause i thought that was the problem, but then I booted up my computer today and the same thing happened again. Does anyone know what could simultaneously stop all videos from being displayed properly?

The only program I can think of that I installed since yesterday was updating Musicmatch Jukebox. But uninstalling that did nothing. I'm lost and I don't want to reinstall everything if i don't have to.

Try right-clicking the desktop and going to properties, then the settings tab. Then click on advanced and then go to troubleshoot tab. Then put hardware acceleration to none then click apply and then OK.
