Video Capture - honestechTV.exe

I have been unable to resolve this issue and was hoping you guys could help. I have installed a video capture card...the name excapes me but I believe it is PVR-Plus. Any rate, I get an error message when a scheduled recording tries to begin:

Access violation @ 00480F0D in module honestechTV.exe

Has anyone encountered this issue? If so please help. Oh, if you think it might be a memory issue I have a new stick of RAM heading my way in a few days and if you think it might be a virus I have McAfee antivirus and in the morning I am going to install AVG so see if AVG finds anything.

I figured it out. Like I was mentioning about the RAM. It was a memory issue, but it wasn't that it was bad. Not sure how long it had been reseated wrong because I haven't had any issues up until now, but I took both sticks out and simply swapped them. Made SURE they were seated nice and tight. Viola...no more error. So, just for future reference for others down the line. Ya might try reseating then replacing memory.
