Hello, I have a question. How can I save weblinks without having to click the link, surf to the site and Save in Favoutires?
This site that I am a member of lists about 100 links to other sites. Is there a way that I can save the link to my computer to surf to later?
Is there a way that I can also print out the link addresses once I save them so I can have a perminant copy? I have been looking all over for either some software that can do this but maybe I'm looking in the wrong area.
It takes so long having to click on the link, surf to the site, add to fav.
then copy and paste the site address to Word to print out.
Thanks for the help

Right click on it and "copy link location".[Firefox]
Right click on it and "copy shortcut". [Internet Explorer]
Then you could paste the link in notepad [for example] and save it. [and print a copy]

In Firefox there is a 'Bookmark this link' option enabling you to place it directly in your bookmarks without visiting the site.
Dunno about IE (never use it) but I s'pose there might be something similar.

IE7 has the same feature. Right click a link, left click "Add to Favorites."

Maybe someone knows of a way to print out all your bookmarks/favourites if you do it that way.
Never tried to myself.

Firefox has an extension called My Portal (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1217/):-
A live web page of your bookmark hierarchy. Leave My Portal open in a tab to easily browse, search, and open your bookmarks and live bookmarks.
I suppose it would print as a web page but I'm pretty sure there is/are extensions more suited which I can't currently think of.
Another method that may work is to open the actual bookmarks.html file in your profile. That appears in a structured form.

Come to think of it - I use that Firefox extension del.icio.us Bookmarks (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3615/).
If they were all saved as bookmarks as mentioned in this thread, it would do the job as usefully as printing the list of them I reckon.

I tried del.icio.us a while back, along with a few other of those social bookmarking sites, StartAid, Linkagogo and the Firefox one but they didn't really do anything for me. I prefer to keep my bm's as local as possible. I've been using the Google Bookmarks (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2448/) extension for about 6 months and treat it as a back up should the you know what hit the fan. It has got some functionality with regard to sorting by date or title.
