Mailwasher Pro (http://www.firetrust.com/) (payware) has been released. All users who have donated are registered users and will be advised next week. Grab a fully functional freeware version of Mailwasher (http://www.mailwasher.net/) while you can. My understanding is that while a freeware version may be available for some time yet, it may also offer reduced features.

Thanks AnnMarie for the heads up! ;) I picked up this program some time ago(Free Version) and I have all the features. I like the bounce feature, comes in handy. I also blocked out a virus that was sent to me. So I recommend it to anyone who wants to get rid of spam mail.

Where'd you get your updated infor from? There's nothing on the Mailwasher site about a Pro version, so just wondering.

Cant reveal my sources RandyG but maybe if I tell ya that the proggie was written by a fellow Kiwi...... ;)

I did pop off a mail to them, asking about a quirk I found in both of the last releases, to see if they were able to duplicate it, and also asked them about what you had posted (without revealing my sources!!:D)

If I hear anything strange or interesting, I'll post it!;)

AnnMarie...I am a fully-paidup user :) ...are you saying that I should download the Pro NOW?

Unfortunately, my ISP is having mail server problems (not just my area...but all across the country - they got new servers). So, I guess I have to wait to download the PRO until they get the mail servers fixed...correct?

I got a reply back, but from Hamish instead of Nick or Mike.

Just what you said, AnneMarie, the Pro version is there latest offering, and there will be a free version with limited functions.

Have you downloaded the Pro version yet? Any new or cool features in that one, as opposed to the one on the mailwasher site?

Hi RandyG - no I havent downloaded it. There may be special instructions in the email so I'll wait until it arrives.

Hi joe2cool - I didnt see any point in running two versions so I uninstalled the old version first. Mailwasher Pro remembered all my settings.

Hi joe2cool - When you say email neutralizer, I'm not sure what you are referring to. Can you give me some more detail. It might be a feature I havent found yet lol.

Re purchase - yep, a must in my opinion. I am a registered user. I loved it so much, I gave a voluntary donation when it was free. :D

To be honest joe2cool, its not a proggie that I would be interested in although I can see its merits. I have a bunch of stuff on my PC that covers most of what it can do already but for those that dont, sure why not. No harm in trialing it anyway.
