Firefox and Thunderbird files location

Am about ready to install a new drive in laptop with new OS. (Old OS Win2K Pro on old drive which will be used as external drive.)
I want to retain all the bookmarks etc of Firefox and all my mail folders (and settings?) in Thunderbird.
Figure that, after re-installing the two apps in the new drive and OS, I can move or copy (import?) over those files from the old drive to the new one. Have no idea where these files are located for either app. Appreciate your input.
Thanks for your help.

for firefox, go to your bookmarks, organize bookmarks, the export. It will save the file as html and you can import them.

As far as thunderbird, see this

Thanks renegade600!
Will let you know how successful I'll be when I finish transitioning to the new drive.
