Lightbulb Outlook Email Exact Sync

Hello,

I have an idea, but I'm not sure if it can be done.

My laptop runs for the most part, all day.
I thought it would be neat to just leave outlook running on it, so its always checking for emails, and I know when one comes in.

But, on the computer I'm using now, I'd need for it and the laptop to share the exact same of everything in outlook.

Say an email comes in, and my laptop tells me so, but I'm on my computer.
I would need that email to come to my computer as well.
And say I reply to that email, I would need the email to be saved to both the computer and laptop.
That way if I'm on the go, both my computer and laptop always have the same emails, and folders in them
So if I move an email to a specific folder on the laptop while on the go, or create another one, it would be the same on my computer when I got back to it.

I know you can tell outlook to leave a copy on server for other computers to pull, but I need more indepth than that.

Some kind of syncing maybe?
My laptop hooks up to the internet via a CAT5 coming out of my computer.
So for the most part, the two are always connected.
(Lost the drivers for my Wireless card >:| )

I have my Pocket PC Dell Axim I sync with outlook, maybe I can do the same with a computer?

If the PCs are networked then you could look into storing the PST file in a shared folder.

that is why I started checking my email via webmail instead of the hassle of trying to setup outlook and sync between computers, making sure all mail including sent mail is available on every computer, etc. It also makes it easy when I get new computers.

It seems to be more convenient this way for me. Maybe its something you may want to consider.

I have a hotmail account, gmail account, and even had a yahoo account.

But I use my Pocket PC with Outlook for the syncing, and its convenient.

A lot of sites don't allow free services such as hotmail to use as an email, I like to use my domain email because it seems a lot more professional as well, and I like that fact its a program, which doesnt need to be online to check and or print old emails.

But the free services allow pop3 pickup from other accounts. For example, I have yahoo, gmail, hotmail, mail, and personal/business accounts. Everyone of them is either forwarded or pop3 to yahoo. I do not lose the effectiveness of the professional looking name nor do I have to worry about going places that does not allow free accounts. Finally I do not have to worry about going to umpteen different places to get my email.

You can still have all of your email addresses and you can see them all through one email account online. You can still access it online via pocketpc.
