Question Firefox 2.0.03 and Java6

I just updated to Firefox 2.0.03,but when the update was installed,it said JRE6 was not compatible and disabled the Java plugin.
How can i get around this?

With respect,that doesn't make sense!
They release an update for FF to make it more secure, and then you have to use an older, less secure version of Java!
