fist of fury- no sound!

i just bought the bruce lee film fist of fury (hong kong legends, platinum edition) and have found that i get no sound no matter what media player i use! ive tried interactual and windows media player (the newest one), with both there is no sound at all. i was wondering if its a faulty disk and should return it or something else is the matter. i have sound from other programs such as itunes and msn noises and they work. im stuck please help.

ive tried it on a different computer i it worked perfectly. when i next have access to that computer ill try it on my xbox there and also try different dvds on it.

ive tried out a couple of dvd's now and ive found i have no sound from the dvd's on that computer. i tried my cd/dvd lens cleaner, but that didnt work and will try to update my dvd driver. i have a pioneer dvd-rom dvd-116.

What happens if you play a music CD on that DVD drive? Any sound?

when i play command and conquor: the first decade (its a dvd) that rund just fine. also my cd's work on it, it seems to just be dvd's :'(
