Ill try to keep it short and sweet so I don't end up writing a book so to make a long story short...

My friend and I have been working on this project for class using Power Point and after we had finished it on his computer we burned it to a CD to bring in to class and then he deleted it from his computer (probably not the smartest idea).. and now we lost the CD

So basically, my question is .. is it possible in any way to somehow get that project back from his computer even though he deleted it? I mean, the project was burned onto a CD from the computer, so perhaps it gets saved on his computer... idk...

any suggestions ??

I don't know that much about recovering deleted data....there are programs...

However...I do know this much. The more you use the computer after the deletion took place...the less chance you have for any type of recovery. Until you find out if recovery is even possible...you should refrain from using that particular machine.

If he hasn't emptied Recycle Bin it's probably there.

did you by any chance save the disc you burned with the burning program? because my nero asks if you want to save a copy when you burn.
