Pop Up Bocker

My machine is inundated with pop ups even when internet explorer is not running although I am connected to the internet. What is a good pop up blocker that won't cost me anything? Or as little as possible. Thanks!

It sounds like you have a malware or spyware like I have had for time to time. Try something like SpyZooka or a spyware remover of some kind. Also did you set the popup blocker if IE7.

Thanks for the advise. The computer is W2K so it will not allow me to load up IE7. I will set up a spyware remover and I guess try and find a popup blocker in ZDnet or something.
