Google Video has a special on String Theory (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5695502562436172973) from a public broadcasting station based on "The Elegant Universe." I'm not sure if any of you are into physics, but it is a really interesting overview of string theory.

Before you allow the sophists to fill your head with modern junk food theories, start at the beginning.

I've played the French horn for 6 years and, I can tell you the example of changing sound relies on keys isn't completely true. Notes can be bent and, even altered to the point where you can play an entirely different sound. At a specific caliber you, can make any note you wish with it without even using keys anymore. Keys are just a form of threshold for difficult notes beginners to intermediate can use to assist thier playing.

That aside, it was a very interesting theory.
