Question e-mail

Hello,

My brother has had trouble with his e-mail.
When a new e-mail comes in,the time on the e-mail is 1 hour off.
His computer's time clock is correct.
But when the e-mail comes thru, it shows one hour off.

Is this related to the eastern time zone change?
Would it be from the ISP server?

??

Check if he has automatic daylight savings enabled...

On XP (and also, I think, other Windows) double click on the time in the bottom right. In the second tab there'll be a button saying "Automatically Adjust Clock For Daylight Savings Settings" Check/Uncheck it and see if anything changes.

outlook 6.0 ? How old is that? What version of windows is he using? It may well be that MS didn't patch OL 6.0 for the daylight savings time change. The good news is that if that is the case it will clear up soon.

Question Re:

Hello,

He uses Outlook Express 6.0 and win 2000
(just like I am).

But, my clock stamp on my e-mails are current while his
time stamp on his e-mails are 1 hour off.

He has DSL thru Fairpoint New England
while I have Time Warner cable.

Are you using the same machine? If not does he have the needed updates for his machine?

It may be his ISP. Have you looked at the full message header to see what time is really on the message?
