American Chopper is one of the best shows on TV. They build theme bikes for lots of Corporate customers and noble causes. They've built tribute bikes for POW/MIA's, Firemen (a tribute to the NYFD), as well as bikes for NASA, Nascar, Bill Murray, Jay Leno, etc.

Their newest theme bike is a computer themed chopper for HP. Should be interesting. Part 1 is tonight on The Learning Channel.

From their news page:
03/29/07 @ 9:00PM(EST) - HP Bike 1
OCC boots up their latest custom chopper - a computer-themed creation for the HP Corporation. With the build underway, the OCC crew makes a call to the tattoo artists of "Miami Ink" to discuss getting some new tattoos.

Seem like a right pair of herberts - saw one of their shows and thought it was a joke - honestly thought it was a comedy show.
why waste all that effort and money on something that won't go around corners, and is quite frankly dangerous. Admitedly, the crafstmanship of that team is quite breathtaking, but why waste it on something so useless

If I took one of those babies on my usual Sunday morning thrash (Bridgend, Ogmore Valley, over the Bwlch into the Rhondda, up over the rhigos to Hirwaun, Penderyn, Storey Arms, Brecon mountain Centre) it would break. Plus it would take about two hours of hanging on for grim death instead of 45 mins scratching, thrashing and powerslides.
Melt one down and make two decent bikes!

I wasn't going to actually ride the thing, thought it would make a nice lawn ornament.:thrilled:
