I was just preparing my first laptop to freecycle. I never realized how much emotion was in that laptop from old forgotten pictures to the original version of a website I once did. What a rush. I almost hated to get rid of it but I figured that someone else may be able to use it since it just been gathering dust.

FYI - it was a Compaq 1610. Whats amazing is I still had the original restore win95 restore cds and win98 upgrade cd with the proper keys. :D

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else got an emotional rush when they got rid of their computers.

So this is what happens when you become the Official CTH Old Person. :D (borrow from zip)

I removed all data and pics then just trash it, no emotions.

I've had strong emotions when hard drives have died on me. :curse: :cry2:

Especially if I had data on it that I didn't backup.

Sold my IBM for $65.00 USD. That made feel happy. :)

My feeling too. ;)

I just sold my old one to my brother for a very good price. Still, it was better than selling it to some stranger.
