urgent help needed with microsoft word assignment!!

Hi all,

I have typed out my asignment in microsoft word and its a nature trail for kids.Im not great with computers and so its looks very boring and it should be colourful and fun!!!.Its only 3 pages long.

Could someone help me finish it off just by adding some colour and pictures.it prob wont take long for somone with a teachnical knowledge to do it but its taking me forever.if not has any one any ideas where i might find a site to help me???

Hello superkaytee, welcome to CTH.

Well since it's for kids. :happy:

I'm not very good with Word but you could start with the background. Create a new Word document to experiment with it.

Open the new document and click Form (or similar, my program is in another language) it is on the left of the Tools.Then select Theme. There are various you can choose from. You might have to insert your Word CD to install some.

To add pictures, click Import> Picture and select From Folder to choose pictures from your hard drive.

the theme loks really nice ..thanx...but it doesnt show the page breaks anymore...how come?

Hmm.. you are right, I don't know. I'll see if I can find something, or maybe someone else knows and posts back here.

In the experimental Word document (always), highlight a phrase first you want to modify. Click Import> Picture and select WordArt.

I tried printing a test page to see what the theme would look like but the background didnt print...just a white background instead....any ideas what i did wrong?
