Open IE, and click Help in the toolbar, then About Internet Explorer. If you haven't downloaded and installed IE 7, you would be running IE 6.

Is this popup blocker you've turned off one you installed?

I downloaded ie7 and its working alot better with other windows opening but still will not let me watch any kind of video. It told me that my flash player was not installed so i tried 2 install it and the F for flash player popped up on the screen but then I heard my popup blocker make a sound and the screen went blank & my pop up blocker is off. it let me put active x but no flash? theactive x wont stay on untill i load all of flash? Im need 2 burn this thing & buy a descent computer. Dell said they would fix it 4 99.00 but I told them the thing should work right out of the box!

Did you install a separate popup blocker or are you referring to the popup blocker built into IE7?

If you have a third party popup blocker and, as it seems from the information so far, you can't get it completely turned off, uninstall it. If that solves the problem and if you want another third party popup blocker (although I've found IE7's to be quite adequate), try a different one.
