Windows Media Player 11, jumpy

Hi,

This is only a minor problem but slightly annoying,...

Whenever I play music with WMP11, its always jumps slighly towards the end of every song, it seems to happen at the same point of every song....at the end.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi Ann Marie,

On the link you gave me, in the first paragraph there was 2 separate bits of advice for vista users, I followed the first piece of advice which is as follows :

* Vista-only: If your sound card is crackling or having audio glitching (especially towards the end of tracks!), right-click on the Speaker icon in the system tray, select Playback Devices, right-click Speakers in that new dialog, go to Properties, then go to Enhancements - choose "Disable All Enhancements" and you should be fixed up.

That did the job for me

i have the exact same problem. I tried that and it solved my problem, however it stops surround sound from working, only the front two speakers work. Please help.

Welcome to CTH Dave. Have you checked your speaker setup? If so, I'm really sorry but I cant suggest a solution. You could try posting a new topic in our Hardware Forum but this may be something you have to live with.
