Stupid question

Hi people,
I recently started using Outlook Express so that both my university e-mail and my hotmail e-mail would go to the same place. Unfortunately it never worked out. So I deleted my university "account" on outlook but for some reason all mail directed towards that account gets delivered to my hotmail e-mail. This is very annoying. Can anybody help ?

Here is a stupid answer to your question. I do not insist on the authenticity of my answer. It is up to you to act on it. You can ignore it if you dont like it.
Delete both the accounts you have made. Make a new account for yourself. When you make the new account there will be a stage when outlook express will inform you that it has detected a previous account and it will also ask you if it should import the previous account settings or not. Simply choose not to import at the moment and that you will download these later on. This way you will be able to get a completely fresh account and you will be able to recieve your mail from whatever sources you like.

Sounds like a good plan to me abdec - however I would advise that all existing mail is backed up before deleting the accounts
