Non dmg portable apps
Is there a portable internet browser that doesnt require a dmg in order to work. under the account i am in i can not mount disks for obvious reasons. I have looked but have not found any.

they not allowed because they allow "dangerous" items to be install on the computer.

You could always download a dmg.. open it, copy the contents to a folder, then zip the folder on another Mac, then take the zip to the limited computer.
I suspect that if you aren't allowed to have dmg files there's reason beyond any "dangerous stuff" such as a boss or it department does not want you running your own applications. There's been no "dangerous stuff" on a Mac for over two decades as far as I'm aware.
