If you are into beta product testing or just like newsletters and have the money then go for it.
You usually get some good offers. It really depends if the offers compensate the subscription price for the specific user.

TechNet is excellent for large corporations with lots of PCs to support.
If you are a small consulting business the Microsoft Partner programme and its associated "Action Pack" is much more useful.
I would go for that, if you qualify.
