4 drives to 1

I have seen that there are 1TB external Hard drives. These are made up of 4 250GB hard drives that are seen as just one 1TB. Is there a way to make 4 250GB internal drives look like one 1TB drive?

I am running WinXP Pro, 1.5GB RAM, Pentium 4 2.0GHz.

You need to use RAID. If your motherboard supports it then you should be able to set it up in the BIOS, you may also be able to run the setup software in windows.

Alternatives are to purchase a PCI RAID Controller Card.
