Comp wont start :/

Ok, so I put my windows disc in to reinstall. Everything was going ok till a popup said I had to enter some NVIDIA disc that I didnt have. I selected cancel and everthing went ok again.
It was done installing and began to restart itself but then that screen giving me the option to "start windows normally" or "start from last know configuration" came up. It didnt allow me to choose the latter option.
I tried booting from the disc again but for some reason my keyboard wont respond. It works in BIOS but not in the boot menu or anything else.

I have no idea what to do to get my system back up and running so any help or advice would be cool, thanks.

The disk that comes with your motherboard is generally a driver disk, with various chipset drivers, sometimes a few shareware programs, audio/video utilities, etc. They never ship with operating system disks, whether Windows or Linux.
