I have a linksys router/wireless card install on my laptop. Always worked fine. Lately I have to manually use the repair button to get connectivity. Do I need to change settings or could my card be malfunctioning and need to be replaced?

I tried to remove this post but couldn't. I forgot I had an extra wireless card and switched it out and it seems ok. Thank you!

Now it's doing it again, I fooled around and to the layman's eyes, it seems like everything is set to connect automatically, but I am still having to go into the tray - hit the connectivity icon and "repair" to connect. Any ideas?
Also what is your opinion on the Verizon chat software "motive smart bridge"? Ever since I upgraded to ie7, I have been getting errors and so I uninstalled it.

Go to the control panel and go to network connections, try disabling and re-enabling the connection. That worked for me..

THere is something that the ISP's sometimes install so they can chat with you instead of calling for repairs. We'll just see how that goes.
I did disable and enable my wireless card. We'll see if that resets my wireless. Thank you both of you for help!
