ethernet cords

alright well i am trying to link 2 xboxes together. but normal ethernet cords will not work. im wanting to kno what the difference is between a regular ethernet cord and the ones used in linking xboxes

Never used an Xbox, but I would assume that if you are trying to link two together then you would need a crossover cable.

Are you using crossover or straigh patch cable?

oh it makes sense now. ive got crossover and straight patch. but it didnt hit me until now that they are diff things.
