Hi. I fitted a new modem and I keep getting this message
Cannot read Port name Registry. I have fitted plenty of modems and never come up against this. I hope you can help me with this problem. many thanks Terry Horton.

Thanks cody580 for your assistance with my Modem but it keep locking up so I am going to take it back to the shop. I removed all the drivers and everything in the Device Manager with no luck.
