Wi-Fi Connects but no IE

What does it mean when there's a strong wi-fi connection, but IE reports page cannot be displayed. It's a public, unsecured network and TCP/IP properties are set to connect automatically. Tried several web addresses.

Try a different browser such as Firefox or Opera.
