Xp Pro Remote Desktop Server... How do I....???

I've been dealing with this problem for some time now. Here is my situation. I am behind a very strict Internet filter at my place of business. It is the policy of the company not to allow exceptions for any sites that the software determines to be unsuitable for display. Anyway. I have been able to TSWEB into an account that I had with a local volunteer FD that I was a member of and use the internet connection from the Server side. I no longer have access to that account. I am wanting to set up my own personal TSWEB server or web server with Remote Web Connection at my home. I have a PC with XP Professional (P4-2.0Ghz-1Gig RAM-350GigHD) that I plan to designate as the server. I have a broadband cable (RoadRunner) connection with dynamic Ip (I understand I'd need a dynamic update client), and an Airlink101 Ar625W wireless 300N router. I have a domain registered already but have never done anything with it. I'd like to set it up as www.mydomainname.com/tsweb like the one I was used to accessing from the fire department account. Can someone with some expertise in remote networking either guide me through this or direct me to a reputable site for the step by step. I have found that many sites either contradict each other or are partial to there own products... I'd like to try and use what I have... Thanks for any help.

If you want your own registered domain name then you will have to pay for the DNS.

A better option would be to use a free service such as no-ip
You can get a free domain name + update client to point to your PC.

You then need to enable Remote Desktop Connection and port forward port 3389 to your LAN IP.

You should then be able to connect to your PC.
