Not sure why you posted on that in the Cyber Safety forum chg. Let's move this request to the Applications forum.

Copied and pasted from a ZDelete help page (http://www.zdelete.com/faq.htm):
9. I can not get the ZDelete Can off my Desktop.
ZDelete could leave something after uninstallation only in one case - if somebody tried to remove it manually, not by means of standard "Uninstall ZDelete" procedure.
To uninstall ZDelete go: Start-Programs--ZDelete-Uninstall ZDelete. Re-boot computer. If you did not uninstall ZDelete properly, you have to download and install new version of ZDelete using link: http://www.zdelete.com/downloads/ZDeleteSetup.exe
After that do wise uninstall. Then re-boot computer.
While this is not your exact problem, the solution is probably the same: Reinstall ZDelete and try the uninstall again as stated in bold above.

Note that the instructions say to use the Uninstall link on the Start menu, not to uninstall through Add or Remove Programs.

Have you tried doing a SYSTEM RESTORE to before you first installed this?
Try that and then try deleting all traces of it and then run REG SEEKER (www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm) and let it clean your keys.....
A friend had to do just this with a program one time...... (I helped him)
Good luck!

Yes!That is what I finally had to do after digging around in the registry!Witch I might add is scary enough.I think I removed an entry that needed to stay there. But that process didn't work either, so I went to the date of download dug through the reg.again, thought that was enough but no!I ended up going to every restore point from install to today wiping the reg.every time.I can now say its gone.thanks to all?-]:rotflmao:
