Split .rar file
I recently downloaded a large torrent that ended up consisting of 2 .rar type files. Roughly 1.7 gig each, they're labeled as .part1 and .part2.
I've been trying to extract them, but it gets to about 56% and asks for part 2. No big deal...navigate to file 2...it doesn't recognize it as there. I'm thinking I should burn it to a dvd...but the replacement drive I put in only reads cds. -.- Any ideas? |

sorry torrents, according to most people depict warez, and such discussion is not allowed.
however, i'll let you know that burning a disc is just a waste as if it isnt being read where it is now, it wont read on the disc.

Quote:
Many free, opensource, non copyrighted material is available. The rar files are a split archive. Even if you burn the to DVD you will still have a split archive that needs to be joined and extracted. If you did download a legal torrent then ask the source about the problem. It may be that your source files are corrupt.
