How do i set up a wireless network on Windows XP SP2?

there doesnt seem to be an option for Wireless Network Connection in the Network connections folder

There should be a small icon for wireless beside the clock (bottom right) on the Taskbar.
What are you using for wireless? Router and 2 wireless cards?

its a router and im using a wireless usb receiver, the reciever is installed with latest drivers and is glowing but it doesnt seem to be doing anything other than this :hmm:

So you have...
1 computer
1 router
1 wireless USB "receiver"
For a network you need at least 2 computers, you have 1.
I think what your trying to do is get Internet access via wireless on your computer.
The wireless computer then in turn connecting wireless to the router.
Your going to have to post the make and model of your USB "receiver" because I don't know
what your trying to connect wireless to the wireless router.
Also post the make and model of your router please.
