I have an AMD TV Wonder USB 2.0 device that allows me to connect my camcorder to my PC. It works great, however i want to use it as a webcam with applications suchas Windows Live messenger or AIM.
Windows live messenger will not let me select my microphone, speaker, or video devices. There simply aren't any options listed.
AOL Insant Messenger works fine with voice calls but won't recognize my video device either.
I know this wasn't meant to be a webcam but it's still a capture device. Does anyone know what i could do to fix this?
YES i have tried the AMD support and they say it's an issue with the client programs (AIM, WIndows Live) and microsoft wont help me unless i pay them 60 bucks because my windows version is OEM. It's XP Professional BTW. Thanks in advanced
