wireless on a old pc

I have a pc that is about 5 years old. It does run xp, if that matters.
I also have been given a Netgear super-g wireless router WGT624 by a friend. Is it possible to use it with the older pc? The pc does not have a slot for a wireless adapter.

If want to use wireless then the PC will need a wireless adaptor in either PCI or USB.
