I have a headset attached to my desktop computer. I have a Lynksis wireless router connecting my laptop and desktop. Is there a way for my audio coming from my laptop, to be sent/forwarded to my desktop?

Thank you.

Your best bet would be to purchase a wireless A/V transmitter and have it stream the stereo out of the laptop to the line in on the desktop. The network-based solution you're looking for is not ideal.

2 possibilities?

1. Would it work if I got a male to male cord, plugged one end into the audio OUT of the laptop, and the other end into the audio IN of the desktop, would I hear the laptop sound coming through the headset of the desktop?

2. Could I get a male male/female cord, and plug one male into the laptop, one male into the destkop, and plug the headset into the female end.

Food for thought, thanks.

If that's no problem though, it'll be cheaper.

2. Could I get a male male/female cord, and plug one male into the laptop, one male into the destkop, and plug the headset into the female end.If you're thinking of combining the two outputs into one, then you need a stereo mixer.
