Modem Help

Ok, So this might be long lol. I got A New Modem yesterday the 2wire 2700 HG-D, From Qwest, And i like to play Warcraft and host my own games and also for gaming consuls and I dont get how i add a DMZ address to it so it will let me, on the other modem all i had to do was type it in , on this one, I have to select an Application, Which none of the games that i have are on there or switch to DMZ + mode which leaves like everyport open, and i dont want to do that for security reasons.. .So im just confused..

Click the link that say add a new user defined application.
It should let you choose the port to open.

IT does but its really confusing, i have no clue what ports i need to open even.. and you have to put like 500 other things in..
