Corrupted JPEG! Issue

I, currently downloaded a file that was said to be a jpeg..

but now i cant' access, delete, open or move the file..

Is there any way i could somehow delete the file..

it's really bugging me

hi Luke, welcome to CTH.
Where is the file and what is it's name?
i.e. File location = "My Documents" or "Desktop" or "C:\Downloads" etc...
filename = "picture.jpeg"

Have you scanned the file with an anti-virus?

Is The Folder The Corrupted File Is Located.

Anti Virus, can't even scan the file it's like i can't do one thign with it.

It, seems originally it wasn't a image file is my prediction

because it isn't read by any programs..

And it's dead, i can't remove this and it's starting to become a major problem..

It may pay to unhide file extensions (From windows explorer>Tools>Folder Options>View
Select "Show hidden files and folders"
Un-Tick "Hide extensions for known file types"
Un-Tick "Hide protected opertating system files"
Once you've done that, if you right click on the file and select properties, what does it tell you about the file?

I did so,

Right Clicked.. Doesn't give a Properties Option

OK, what I want you to do is empty everything else from your C:\My Downloads folder (just move them to a different folder for now).

Then close Windows Explorer and go Start>Run
Type in cmd and click OK.
Type CD \ (Note the space) and Press [ENTER]
Type del "C:\My Downloads" (note the quotation marks) and press [ENTER]
You should see C:\My Downloads\*, Are your Sure (Y/N)? Type y and [ENTER]

If that worked, recreate your My Downloads folder and move your other files back in there.
